Somernites Cruise: Discover A Cool Car Show!
I've been around the vendors, in the downtown shops during the monthly festivities, and watched the cars at the Somernites Cruise. I live in downtown Somerset, Kentucky. Whenever the Somernites Cruise is happening I get to see all the classic cars and local muscle come out. It's a wild experience being right in the thick of the "Official Car Cruise Capital of Kentucky". It's bustling, colorful, and fun. So many people come out, it's absolutely ridiculous (in a good way).
It's on the fourth Saturday from April to October. They have lots of cars, trucks, and motorcycles from all around. You can see them for free! There's also yummy food trucks, things to buy from stores, and music to enjoy.
Somernites Cruise is family-friendly, so you can bring the whole family. It's safe and everyone can have a good time, whether they like cars a lot or just a little.
Besides the main Saturday Show & Shine, there are other things to do. On Thursday and Friday, they have special events. At 6pm, there's something cool called Cruisin' the Strip, where the cars drive through the city streets.

All Types of Cars: Any car can come to the show. It doesn't matter if it's old or new, they like them all!
Different Themes: Each month, they pick a theme. Sometimes it's all about a certain kind of car, like the old ones from the 50s.
Nighttime Fun: When it gets dark, the cars still go for a drive. It looks awesome!
